Plan of China is an independent service operated from Beijing, China. The operator is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Information handled on this website
This is a static website. It has no enquiry form, user account, payment system, analytics, advertising pixel, or behavioral tracker. Plan of China does not use website visitors' information for profiling or targeted advertising.
The hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security events—to deliver and protect the website. The exact provider and its retention details will be identified before public launch.
Information handled when you email
If you contact Plan of China, the information processed may include:
- Your email address and any name you provide
- Your country or region
- Travel dates, destinations, and number of travelers
- Your itinerary, questions, attachments, or view-only document links
- Subsequent email correspondence
Only provide information needed to review the trip. If the itinerary contains information about another traveler, make sure you are permitted to share it.
How information is used
Information is used only to:
- Assess your request and confirm whether a free review is available
- Review an accepted itinerary and answer your questions
- Communicate with you about the request
- Protect the service from misuse
- Meet applicable legal obligations
Your itinerary, feedback, or review will not be published as a case study or testimonial unless you later give separate, express permission. Plan of China does not sell personal information.
Please do not send sensitive information
Before emailing, remove or cover information that is not needed for the review.
Do not send passport or identity-document scans, passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card numbers, bank details, payment QR codes, account access details, health records, or unredacted transaction records. Email is not an appropriate channel for this information.
Service providers and international processing
Email and website hosting providers process information as needed to deliver their services. A document link is also handled by the platform you choose to use. Information may therefore be processed in countries outside your own.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or service security. Provider-specific details will be added after the hosting and email services are selected.
Retention
Working emails, itineraries, and attachments are targeted for deletion within 90 days after the review is completed. If a request is not accepted, they are targeted for deletion within 90 days after the final response.
You may request earlier deletion by emailing hello@planofchina.com. Information may be retained longer only where necessary to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Copies held in provider backups may remain until the provider's normal backup cycle completes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Send requests to hello@planofchina.com. Reasonable steps may be taken to confirm that a request relates to you without asking for unnecessary identity documents. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
Reasonable care is taken to limit access to correspondence and protect it from unauthorized use. No email or internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please minimize and redact the information you send.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated if the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version and revision date will appear on this page.
